Paul van den Heuvel always wanted to fly. Van den Heuvel grew up building model airplanes with his father and developed an affinity for the Royal Air Force Spitfire, a World War II-era British jet. Even after becoming a pilot for United Airlines, he continued to dream of owning his own plane. But rather than a WWII British jet, the plane that finally fulfilled the fantasy was a Cold War-era craft built in the Soviet Union.

SYCAMORE - Money was on the agenda of the Sycamore City Council on Monday, as council members approved boosting the amount the city pays to the chamber of commerce and discussed increasing ambulance fees.
