Budget shortfall
DeKALB - The DeKalb School Board on Tuesday voted 5-0 to amend the budget for fiscal year 2008 because the district is expected to finish the year with a $116,000 deficit in operating funds - better than the $551,000 deficit expected when the budget was put together last year.
